Not gonna happen - the paperwork would weigh more than the car...
Date: 10 Jan 2009 21:29 (UTC)You can get around that by having the car custom modified and throwing generous amounts of money at lawyers to shepherd the paperwork around for all the right signatures, but you are also going to spend triple what the car cost to get it done.
You might spend that kind of money to bring in a high end Rolls or Lamborghini or Porsche maybe, not for a Holden.
Or you can try to find a cheat around the laws - perhaps import it into Canada and get it registered there, then try quietly driving it across... But when they catch you you'd better have the dough on hand to get it exported again, or the car goes straight to the nearest crusher.
