Ute vs Roo
26 July 2005 23:27Dad hit a kangaroo on the way home. The roo was a big male, about 7 feet tall. Mum and Dad are lucky the animal bounced right over the top and didn't come through the windscreen.
They're okay, but the ute and the kangaroo are totalled.

Well, bugger. But the company needed a new truck anyway. Now the accountant will let us buy it.

Date: 27 Jul 2005 23:56 (UTC)I will say this I do grow my own vegetables, and we do use less electrivity than you, and my car is tuned and tweaked to use as little gas and it's on the books to be modified to run on alternative sources as soon as it's paid for.
and yes I like anime, but most of the animators are for stopping the slaughter of dolphins and whales.
when you can grow up, and keep your mind focused on the here and now, and maybe get a job instead of being a bum and spending your time playing games.
Re: I mourn...
Date: 28 Jul 2005 00:16 (UTC)I grow my own vegetables, I don't use more electricity than I need to, and, as soon as possible, I'm planning on getting a new, more-efficient car, possibly a hybrid, bio-diesel conversion, or one of unitednuclear's nifty hydrogen-fuel conversion/generation kits. And whether the animators like it or not, you're still supporting their economy.
And I have a job, again. I was unemployed for approximately three weeks, and have been on civil-service rolls in an attempt to get an actual career job, in addition to trying to sell myself to any photographers who I've been made aware of who need an assistant. And if Your 'bum' comment is rather unsupported, seeing as I pay for rent, food, partial utilities, a car, etc, etc, etc.
I'll also note here that you still have to account for your list of ecological sins, since you feel so strongly about them.
See, the last sentance is the funniest, here. I'm not done growing up -- in fact, I'm just barely out of adolescence. As I have become a man, I have learned from my mistakes, become more responsible, more focussed, and generally a better person. I'm improving myself every day as time goes on.
At your age, what's your excuse?

you know what, I do alot of good, and my time is spent helping various groups that help animals, and the enviorment, and I am damn proud that I am doing more good for the enviorment, and your petty attitude is now just as annoying as is a spoiled brat.
