Dad hit a kangaroo on the way home. The roo was a big male, about 7 feet tall. Mum and Dad are lucky the animal bounced right over the top and didn't come through the windscreen.

They're okay, but the ute and the kangaroo are totalled.









Well, bugger. But the company needed a new truck anyway. Now the accountant will let us buy it.

Kangaroos are like deer with barrels of sand strapped to their legs. They're much more bottom-heavy, and hitting them causes a lot more damage to vehicles.

Bottom-heavy's -good-. It'll cause more damage to the vehicle, but it seems to me that it'd be less likely to wind up in your lap.
