I didn't get the job at the Abattoir. I rang to see about the delay and discovered they'd employed someone who had all the qualifications they wanted. They didn't call for interviews.

I'm a bit upset about that.

So now I will get drunk, and fall over.

You know, what is it about employers that the chickenshit bastards can't at least give a call back to tell you to get fucked? I had that problem back when I was looking for work, and it seems to be a problem everywhere. I mean, hell, you're looking for work for a reason, you should have a right to know that the position has been filled!
