I didn't get the job at the Abattoir. I rang to see about the delay and discovered they'd employed someone who had all the qualifications they wanted. They didn't call for interviews.

I'm a bit upset about that.

So now I will get drunk, and fall over.

Don't know what to say without sounding like a jerk. Bad things happening to good people? No, that sounds retarded. But it's kinda what I mean. I guess.
