I blu-tacked the little camera to the dash of my car, set the exposure to 1 frame per second, then took the long way home. The sun set at about 5.30pm, and it was cloudy.
This is neat. I think I would get lost easily in Australia. You guys have lots of open road without very many distinguishing features. Wide open spaces.
Lessee... 1fps at 24 frames per second of video... so a standard 10 minute YouTube video lasts 600 seconds, which means that you could video a drive at 1fps whose maximum duration was 14400 seconds, or 4 hours. That's enough time to go 200 or 300 miles, depending on how you drive. Hmmm....
Now I have to see if I can do the same to my camera.
The drive from work to my house should be interesting, especially along I-76, the Schuylkill (mispronounced, intentionally, as Sure Kill) Expressway, and the North/South Freeway. :=3
~So when the time comes to settle down Who's to blame if you're not around? You took the long way home You took the long way home You took the long way home.........
ooooooooooooooaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Long way home Long way home Long way home.......~ :D
That video makes me nostalgic for living in the country. The city's great but sometimes I miss rural NSW. Can't wait to go on my geology excursion out to Orange.
I followed your journey home. But was confused until i realized they had installed a roundabout on the junction of Cobbora road and Wheelers lane. It is good to drive home a different way from time to time.
