Port Macquarie grey headed flying fox colony leaves its roost at twilight. There are about 50,000 bats in the colony.

I saw a whole pile of flying foxes sleeping in the trees in the Royal Botanical Gardens in Sydney before I left... It's hard to photograph them when they're in the trees and have them look like bats unless you catch them in a wing stretch.
