It's a dragin
1 September 2007 20:50Bearded dragon showing off his injuries on the end of his nose and behind his eye.

The zoovets pumped him full of antibiotics and held him for a few days. I have him here now for a few weeeks R&R befor I release him.
Dragon says "Bugger Off"

Beardies are usually a mid-grey, but they can change colour to suit the environment. They can't change like a chameleon, but they can change from very dark grey to pale yellows. They change to either manage heat absorption or to hide. When I picked up my dragon he'd been in dead grass for some time.

This is after 10 minutes in a box on newspaper.

I've another friend who keeps them as pets. Hers are gorgeous too.
