The noisy miner I thought was a noisy miner isn't a noisy miner. He is, in fact, a white plumed honey eater.

Sometimes bird identification can be difficult. Warblers are a good example.
I think that white plumed honey eater *sounds* a lot more exotic than "noisy miner.":D

They're different species, but they're both honey-eaters and olive grey in colour. White plumed honey eater endangerment listing is "LC" or Least Concern. There's millions of the buggers.
