Date: 28 Feb 2006 04:11 (UTC)I've watched American Kingfishes fish for minnows, and the only way you can be sure they caught one is to see a bit of minnow tail outside beak's edge, through a pair of binoculars. How they see these tiny fish from a distance underneath the water of a rolling river has always fascinated me.
