Speaking as a dedicated predator and carnivor... I say YUM!
Same here (Predatory carnivore that is).
Ever come across the traditional British Beef Stout? It's made with beef extract rather than chunks of meat, but it's very tasty. Rather rare these days, but still findable.
I have the same problem with Firefox but it worked in IE. It likely has something to do with Java which I cannot seem to get to work in my Firefox (tried reloading Firefox and Java in both orders and doing an uninstall of both before each reload attempt)
Not being a beer drinker myself (I know -- blasphemy!), I can't speak as to the relative quality of American and Australian beers. But the ads are definitely better.
And of course, there's some really good smallbrews here in the states. I particularly like Mendocino Brewing Company (http://www.mendobrew.com/home.html)'s beers. Mmmm, birdy.
Very much agreed, Smallbrewers (and homebrewers/microbrewers for that matter) do rock indeed, I myself quite like the porter produced by a local microbrewery (www.redduckbeer.com.au)
And surprisingly (or maybe not), I _have_ heard of Redtail Ale. It's quite a yummy beer apparently.
Microbrewerys (or smallbrewerys, which ever you call 'em) are best, cos they aren't concerned with volume, and can keep the quality (and taste) up, unlike the larger breweries Around (a notable exception is Cascade Brewery, it's part of the Fosters group, but is still run independantly, and still has rather tasty beers)

As quoted from the boys at Monty Python
F'in close to water!
Personally, I'd rather drink VB then drink a major brand american beer (and VB makes me dry heave)
Re: As quoted from the boys at Monty Python
Which is why I homebrew.
Mmmmmm. Beer.
