This tiny photo is the replica Wright Flyer Model A at an altitued of 4m over the heads of dignitaries. A cross wind meant the plane couldn't use the main runway so they used the second runway, which is 300meters from where I was standing. If I had my camera I'd have better photos; all I had was the little Olympus digital from work.

On the other hand, I can post my photos now.

The Rutan? it's one of the light planes just above the nearside wing on the Boomerang

apart from that, all I'd have to say is, a Hillman Imp is considered 'modern'??

I gotta say the old war birds Look the most like Airplanes to me - too many hour watching WWII movies burned those designs in my little kid brain :)

I assume all those planes aren't hangared at Narromine. did they do any flyovers, etc or was it strictly on the hoof?
