Narromine Airshow
1 October 2005 17:02This tiny photo is the replica Wright Flyer Model A at an altitued of 4m over the heads of dignitaries. A cross wind meant the plane couldn't use the main runway so they used the second runway, which is 300meters from where I was standing. If I had my camera I'd have better photos; all I had was the little Olympus digital from work.
On the other hand, I can post my photos now.
Airshow Panorama. Spot the Burt Rutan design!
RAAF Boomerang, from World War 2
A replica Japanese fighter (which?) from WW2
Nose Art
The Wright Flyer Model A.
The only modern consessions are a 57hp motor from a Hilman Imp, and modern synthetic sail cloth.
