A classic avacado salad is to serve it on the half shell with the hole (minus pit) filled with some sort of vinagrette dressing. Another salad is alternative slices of avocado and grapefruit.If you want to go Californian you can eat it on a hamburger, with or without sprouts. I prefer guacamole, myself. Hmmm, time to go to the store:D........
