Watching the Clouds

This is my Sigma 600mm mirror lens. The two internal mirrors (one parabolic, one flat) make it operate like a newtonian telescope, but with the light exiting the rear instead of the side. I bought it years ago for my AE1, but Canon decided to change the mounts for the new EOS series so the lens wouldn't fit my new camera. I was a bit sad about that. I now have a little adapter that will let me fix the FD lens into the EOS mount. All I need now is to remember who I loaned my tripod to...

Date: 15 Jun 2004 18:11 (UTC)I shot a pair of EOS Elan 2 (USA models); the new one is an EOS Elan 7 (which is something else everywhere else...) Have a 28-105mm metal-body USM, and a 70-210mm metal-body USM; also a 540EZ flash (and a few accessories). Took some KILLER photos at last year's MFM (major furrycon) with it, and will probably shoot it again at this year's MFM.
Felt like "old times" at the con; I shot almost 4 rolls of film in a short time, mainly during fursuit events. Haven't lost my "touch", either! *grin*
Keep posting your favorite shots, Den. Good photos are always enjoyed!

My camera has an auto-flash, red-eye light, and a date feature I turned off because I can't stand the way it spoils a photo.
