The next time Herman Tavani suggests writing a book on technology-related issues, I want the cranky_editors to take him aside and show him a print-out of the jargon file, then quietly give him a sound thrashing with it.

I disagree. The man is a comedic genius. I could only make it through to "Physical assault with a computer" without bursting out laughing.
