On Saturday afternoon I got a headache. Not your normal take-2-asprin headache. This was a persistant back of the head, to the left of the neck pain that made it hard to do anything that required more thinking than watching telly. Dr Phil needs a large foam cricket bat so he can beat people on the sides of their head and say "Wake up to yourself!" Channel 10 has replaced Springer with repeats of Mysterious Ways. Which is nice. Sunday and Monday were dead-losses. Lying on the bed in a dark room helped more than asprins did.

I woke this morning to discover that it has almost gone, leaving my brain feeling buised and washed out. The PC is too loud so I have ear-plugs in, but I might actually start writing journal entries again.

I always feel 'hung over' after a migraine, head all fulla cotton wool, not all synapses firing (and no wonder considering I've spent two days with my brain short circuited), I have to be very careful at those times.... I have a tendancy to walk into things, trip over stuff, cut myself if I'm chopping vegetables...

Fortunately that part doesn't seem to last more than a day
