But first, I forgot to post this one yesterday. It's the inside of one of the 6 oil storage tunnels built during the air raids of 1942. It is 3m wide, 5m high and 171m long.

Brolgas, Australia's only crane.

Male bustard. They are common around central Queensland, and extinct everywhere else.

Gecko. Having one of these drop on you during the night causes much leaping and Aargh!ing.

Treefrogs. Geckos and treefrogs are threatened by the cane toad, which has finally reached Darwin.
