We have pay-TV channels that innundate us with "Australian rules football," and you can even purchase a series of English Cricket and Soccer games, but *you* barely see mention of our greatest drunkathon sport event? Heh. All you missed were some funny furry commercials -- oh, and Janet Jackson's booby.

Hmmm. Yet more reasons I'd like to move to Australia. That and the fact that living in the outback would remind me of San Diego, California. 'Specially all the bleedin' Eucalyptus trees. }:xD

For some bizarre reason, it was playing in the NOC where I work (yes, it was broadcast on SBS), on the big screens that (sometimes) have network monitors displayed. I guess it was the only sport on.

Just think, these are your tax dollars hard at work ;-)
