An aquaintance from the coast turned up in town with these two. She couldn't leave them with carers.




She named them Lady and The Tramp. They are orphaned grey-headed flying foxes

They are, as aiobheil guessed, rubber nipples. It's the flying fox version of a blue blanket. A blank (ie un-peirced) nipple is pushed through the lid of an eyedropper and folded over so the pups don't swallow the nipple. They're happy as long as they can suck on something.
