Uni is a bit ordinary. All the lectures are tele-conferences so asking questions is a bit of a problem. I made Noel in Database laugh when my excuse for not doing the tutorial last week was "I was slack." We had trouble hearing him over the rain.
A lot of rain. It's been raining on and off since Saturday but today it poured. I would have been wandering in it but I spend all Mondays at uni, so I could hear all the nice rain being wasted on people who held umbrellas or bits of paper over their heads while they ran hunched up for the covered walkways.
I can't release Eddie while it rains.

soggy bats?
Date: 25 Feb 2002 06:51 (UTC)Yesterday it was very warm and sunny. I didn't need my jacket and flannel so I sweated to the market and back. Lots of MUD and such, so I sneezed a bit. There's something odd about releasing a bat in the rain. Nothing like a release of pigeons. There's an idea. "Instead of a commemorative release of pigeons at dawn, they chose several dozen assorted freetails and let them go at midnight. Thus did said persons refute the fates for a moment".Or not. Yeah, yeah, I know, I'm weyrd:D!
