Buy weed&feed lawn weed killer. There is an infestation of cat-heads and khaki weed, and the lawn is more like tufts than an actual lawn. It was pretty neglected by the previous owner. It's not yet good enough to walk in the grass with bare feet, not unless you like stabbing burrs digging into your skin..
