In about 30 minutes, then final bit of paperwork and cheque passing will be done by the solicitor, and then I will own a house.

I just need to buy a fridge, washing machine, couches, outdoor furniture, cooking food in things, eating food from things, and organize power, water, phone and internet.

FWIW the wife and I are almost exactly one year ahead of you. We closed this month last year - the 28th to be exact.
