Just collected another kingfisher: an adult with a broken wing.
My little kingfisher can fly! He zooms around the room well, until he hits a window. I no longer feed him directly. Feeding is now done by making a wormy shape out of the ICBINMW and hold it above the water dish. He has to drop off his stick and catch the food. His water dish also has two tiny fish in it. He watches them intently but does nothing. I'm hoping he'll get the idea and catch the fishies. When that happens he'll be well on the way to release day.
