That's the old place. We haven't finalized the paperwork with the new place so we can't move in yet.

What's that obnoxious one screaming at you at the start?

Hallan

That's the peewee begging for food. There are three in the vid plus two magpies. There used to be 3 magpies and 5 peewees, but the others have joined the wild flocks.

I notice pausing to gobble up things, so they aren't nearly as pathetic as they pretend to be. Nice terrace ;).

The new place doesn't have as big a covered outside area. I'll have to fix that.

He's commited the highest crime imaginable, in babybird realm: HE'S NOT FEEDING THEM!

Srsly. The only way to stop that noise is to stuff that gob so full of ICBINMW that no noise can come out around it.

I've reduce the amount of ICBINMW they get to almost nothing. They have to hunt for their own food and stop relying on me.

I'm having partial success. They stopped relying on me, and moved on to the neighbours who think it's wonderful having tame birds come to the back door and beg for food.

They're not cranky.

That's just them begging for food. The three smaller birds are peewees (aka magpie-larks) and the two larger birds are Australian magpies. When magpies aren't squarking for food they have a melodious call, and also that chattering sound my magpie is making.

Magpies, the Corvidæ from Hell. Raucous, greedy, scolding, brazen, destructive gangbusters. If Mark Twain thought Jays were funny to write about, he should have considered doing a piece on magpies. Their only redeeming feature is that they look cute, always dressed up in their tuxedos.

The trouble is, they are so SMART. No bird-brains for these birds.
