It has just occurred to me that having an ibis in the bathroom might be considered unusual.

well, perhaps unusual in that most people don't keep birds in their bathrooms, but it seems like a reasonable place to put an ibis if you're going to put one in your house, really. I mean, the parlor just wouldn't do. And have you ever heard one try to play a piano? It's terrible, I assure you.

Also, hurrah to ibis rescuing, to which I assume that's related.
