Hmm, medium size perhaps but I don't like the looks of that formation. It's not totally clear from the angle but it looks like it's forming a "beaver tail" which in the mid west USA can often indicate some strong, possibly tornadic winds. Great photos however.

California rarely gets thunderstorms. And even rarer to get them during the summer (winter is rainy season here). Did you know that?
