Date: 6 Nov 2007 14:20 (UTC)It's amazing how some things survive. A person contacted my about some ancestors of mine. There is an old cemetary kitty-corner on a property near her home that has names of our common ancestors on it, and she wanted to know the names I had for a certain branch of the family. Apparently the tombstones in it are fairly weathered and some of the dates were illegible being from, oh, the early 1800's. I guess not all stone is created equal.
