It's interesting how a little bit of cool weather causes a rather tired car battery to totally fail. Thank heavens for cheap booster packs.

I didn't realize you guys got snow where you are... even if it is just sleet.

Snow isn't normal for this area. Further South, in an area laughingly called The Australian Alps, they get heavy falls from early June to late August.
