1. Because her parents ownthe Hilton Chain of Hotels and have tons of money.
2. She has failed an acting career and had a singing career shelved, and did that dumb Fox Simple Life Series which made dumb people notice?
3. News reporting in America is becoming more focused on silly human interest stories and scandalous reports instead of real bonafide news. It's also probably part of the government censorship campaign. As in distract us whilst W fiddles and the economy burns.
4. It's a sign of the forthcoming biblical apocalypse.
