"I have found myself increasingly chastised by climate change campaigners when my public statements and lectures on climate change have not satisfied their thirst for environmental drama and exaggerated rhetoric.
It seems that it is we, the professional climate scientists, who are now the (catastrophe) sceptics."

In extremist times, every sound and moderate view falls flat, it's a fact.
Unfortunately, such sound and obviously documented opinions give way more fuel to the un-educated "let's keep on like that till the earth rumbles down" crowd and by extrapolating from these science news, the "polluters" - generic name because that's too vast to cover- will find a legal, scientific, sound and reasonnable excuse to do nothing... and it's a nice way to shoot ourselves in our own foot.
So, scientifically speaking, he's probably right. Humanely speeking, psychologically speaking, he's a dwarf.
Sometimes, you have to choose side.

He's on the side of science, and doesn't agree with climate change supporters who don't follow scientific methods. Neither do I.
