Delayed! My PC's PSU went on the fritz and probably took the motherboard with it. I'm not sure because everything appears to be working well with the new PSU and old MB. The dodgy power corrupted WinXP so that I had to reload it... twice. I'm unwilling to reload everything again until I know for sure that it's all working okay. Luckily all the damage was to C: and not D: where all my render stuff is. I DID lose my freebie Poser5 files, so now I have to d/l them again as soon as I can find the urls they sent, unless one of you nice people have the freebie d/l installation files and can burn them to cd for me. I'll catch up on the strip when I'm sure the m/b is ok, or when I geta new second-hand one. Found them

Anyway.

have this.

I'm a Chevrolet Corvette!

You're a classic - powerful, athletic, and competitive. You're all about winning the race and getting the job done. While you have a practical everyday side, you get wild when anyone pushes your pedal. You hate to lose, but you hardly ever do.

Bugger on the PSU :( I just installed a new one in my ProjectX PC uber box after 2 weeks of down time :-/ At least it was a free replacement...

Bravo on the Vette too, but you knew I'd say that :D

the worst part is that if it's buggered up the mobo I can't replace it with a new one, what with the PC being 4+ years old with an AMD 1.1GHz cpu. In 2 week a local shop will have a bunch of old boxes to dismantle for spares, and I've asked if I could rat around in there when they're ready.

Look like the mobo is okay, but I have to format/reload WinXP to get a stable install.
