In funnier news, did you hear about the campaign to name the mascot for some company's "Year-Round Learning" program, a snowy owl, Orly? Sadly, it failed -- but along the way, it provided half of LJ with tremendous amusement. I'm not going to go hunting back thru metaquotes for the links, but I think it all went down about 3 weeks ago if you want to look.
