Every year while the Easter Bilby passes out chocolate monotreme eggs to all the girls and boys, the Great Wombat rises from her burrow to give special rewards to the good people who care for native animals*, and webcomic artists who draw wombats.


*Legend inventors always have good things (or lack of bad things) happening to the subset of people which includes them. Do you think I would invent a legend that is bad for me? No one does that! I'm sure even the Nazis gave each other little chocolate Himmlers for being good Aryans.

Well, I really wanted a chocolate wombat, but I gotta admit, the chance to bite the head off a little chocolate Himmler is not entirely without merit.

Unless it was white chocolate. That would just be vile.
