Cyclone Glenda is hovering between categorys 4 and 5. It'll hit Exmouth and Karratha tonight. It's a bit late in the season to have two big storms like this, but it's not rare.

My very good friend Sheryl is a nurse in Karratha. She shares a house with her friend Catherine. I know her as well.

This is the second cyclone in a short time. I doubt they have fully recovered from the last one.

Hopefully people will have learned from the Queensland one. Differential pressure is a right bastard and will take your roof clean off.

And becoming even less so with global warming...

I think you would want to know where the first cylone was headed.

That's right, it was headed here.

Well, the storm didn't actually hit us head on, it just passed us, but we didn't complain. Heck, we had quite a heatstroke for three days since monday (39 degress and rising! Hot and humid!) and the strong winds and rain was really a nice change of pace! Ahhh... coolness.....

I you had something to do with it...THANK YOU! :)

I thought we were going to die of dehydration!

I'm afraid I can't influence cyclones. I'm simply not that good. 8)
