Loch Ness Cuteness!!

Okay....now can we get a shot of the tongue??!?! ;p

In our zoo here in Calgary, we have blue tongued skinks - is this the same thing? They have a program where they let the kids who visit pet the skink - obviously, they don't bite, right? If so, mayhaps you can tempt it to chomp on something....hopefully not your finger... and then we'll get a view of inside the mouth....

They do bite, but they don't have teeth so they can't break the skin. Big adults can clamp onto your finger and it is very painful. The bite is more of a crush and is a little painful, but then the lizard tries to do crocodile rolls and they're strong enough top almost dislocate the knuckle, and that's very painful. Trust me.
