Native ant stings can kill but the extent of the problem is
unclear because it's not recognised as a cause of death on
Australia's mortality register, an emergency specialist says.

As if there weren't enough things here that can kill you, now the bloody ants can. Sheesh.

The winters might suck, but here along the Great Lakes there's no danger of us having to deal with either fire ants or Africanized honey bees. Which is a good thing.

Provided the climate doesn't keep changing, of course. There's no need to keep expanding their ranges....

I'm from the north side of Lake Ontario and spent a winter in Great Lakes, Illinois.

It's too cold up there :)

Granted, I'm now in an area with increased hurricane conditions, but hey, no snow!
