Date: 8 Feb 2006 03:42 (UTC)The Russians say "When money talks, the truth is silent." When it comes to oil, there's a lot of money talking. Oil is a weakness that's devestated our economy, ruined our foreign policy, and made hypocrites of us all.
Not that I expect the President from Exxon to REALLY do anything to cut down our use of oil. Far as he's concerned, the US IS the oil industry. But at least his handlers are having him make the right noises. It's encouraging that somebody at least knows there's a problem.
