While listening to my new remastered version of Jeff Wayne's War Of The Worlds I realized that Richard Burton knows how to properly pronounce the word "doom."
Or the limited edition boxed set they did, which has a large poster of the Thunderchild painting and a paperback of the original book as well. Not that I didn't already have that last item.
Maybe, someday, someone will make a film of the book rather than do a "James Bond", ie taking the story title and coming up with a story which has virtually no connection with the original.
