Between last week's Bugs announcement and this week's, nothing apart from me getting road raged happened. A boring week. I ate, slept, worked, moved the office. Big yawnies. The only real excitement was having [livejournal.com profile] oceansedge [livejournal.com profile] james_b [livejournal.com profile] frostbyt3 and [livejournal.com profile] feychildthe visit. Sunday night we went to the Golden Trough all you can eat (everything tastes good with gravy) then Monday was spent at the Zoo and Dish. They gave me bags of Ginger to eat. 8)

Tonight I had a massive mount of pork and crakle, and washed it down with a nice Yellowglen sparkly white.

Oh yeah. Bugs.

*grins* It was great seeing you again too.... love ya, and your family is soooo great - it's always a pleasure visiting you all. The Golden Trough was indeed filling *grins* And you are the best buddy to have along at the Zoo - just sorry we didn't have a bit more time at The Dish.

Glad you're enjoying the ginger, hope you have it well hidden, (how soon he forgets, there was a birthday card and a bat too *snicker*)

The kids really did - they loved the Golden Trough (buffets are their joy!), and the zoo was a LOT of fun, the Feychild can't get enough of critters *grins*

P.S.

Also, if you're interested in trying those Chilli Chocolate Fling Tim Tams the Coles downtown had them at clearance prices $1.70 when we stopped in for them in the morning. They might not last long. Get em now :)

I'm jealous again:D!

What is pork and crackle?

Pork Crackle

When you roast a leg of pork, you put long slits into the skin and massage a heap salt into it. It makes the skin go really tough and crunchy. The pork is pork and the crunchy skin is the crackle. The crackle is salty and fatty and really unhealthy and yummy.

No, no, no. You jam as much fresh garlic as possible into slits on top of the roast and THEN you salt/herb etc to death! Instant Death Breath!

(And a yummy roast to boot):)!
