Big bird in a little box

Wedge-tailed eagle in a hospital box. She broke her right humerus mid-shaft, which is repairable. Not long after I took this, the zoo vets put a pin in the bone. You can see the right wing is being held at an odd angle.

Now THAT is a Burly Birdie! Looks healthy aside from the damage, and a little ominously sulkish too:).
