Wedge-tailed eagle in a hospital box. She broke her right humerus mid-shaft, which is repairable. Not long after I took this, the zoo vets put a pin in the bone. You can see the right wing is being held at an odd angle.
I know that I'm just anthromorphizing because of the way the eyebrow is drawn down to look like a human glare--I KNOW it--and yet that expression is just pure "You are not worthy to touch me, peon, and I am willing to eat your hand to make my point clear."
Is it possible for you to get more photos later? She has AMAZING colours, less red than I'm used to. She's beatiful, and scary! *shows this post to whyrl*
aw I cant see the pictures *sob* I love wedge tails...theyre so beautiful and with all the comments on what it must be thinking...I wish I could see the expression!

Now THAT is a Burly Birdie! Looks healthy aside from the damage, and a little ominously sulkish too:).
