The Temora Air Museum are lengthening their runway so they can use the Sabre they're restoring. It can take off from the current runway... it just can't land.

Actually, the icon is a CA-27 built by Australian Commonwealth Aircraft Corporation. F-86F airframe with a 7,500 lbst Rolls Royce CAC built Mk 26 Avon engine. It's still a Sabre. My old RAAF mate says if a plane looks good, it'll fly good.
