Australian marsupials can see in full color, new research has found, making them the only other mammals apart from primates to do so.


"The new study supports Arrese's previous findings that the fat-tailed dunnart (Sminthopsis crassicaudata) and honey possum (Tarsipes rostratus), ... , also see in full colour."

quokkas are a type of small wallaby, so I expect colour vision to run through the family.
