Wombat Alert!

We have a Rampaging Wombat in town!

Dubbo isn't wombat territory, and the zoo hasn't lost their's. We don't know where it came from or, as I write, where it is. I'm on the rescue phones at the moment, waiting for a cry of help from someone being menaced by this rampaging beast.
I wonder if Digger made another wrong turn.
EDIT: Looks like the wombat is headed back across the river to the West Dubbo Bowling Club greens.

1 deceased wombat
2 granite stones
Put the wombat and stones into the pot, cover with water and bring to the boil.
The wombat will be ready to eat when the stones turn soft.
(Digger is going to kick your bum!)

Date: 26 Feb 2005 18:04 (UTC)can, when the need arises, suddenly shift into a hyper-drive/Superman-type of activity, at least for a few moments. Seeing a frumpy little lizard suddenly erupt into a hind-leg-sprinting track star, or an ordinary-looking little beetle literally pry your grasping fingers apart and climb out of your clinched hand...
Ahhh...! Nature at her best---!
(And thanks for your intriguing, amusing Digger story. I never miss an update!)
Regards,
Jim

Then again, I think I'd be scared of stones that got soft with boiling!

I'd be worried about all the gardens in the roaming area of the wombat if I were them...........
