I got the idea off a technology pundit on the BBC who was comparing UK and Asian broadband, and used those photos. As soon as I saw it I knew the analogy applied to AUS and Everywhere Else better.

I've been told that broadband is better now in Oz, but perhaps that's just for people close to major cities. Are you still on dialup? (I was until 2003!).

for $70/month I get 500MB/month at 128/64, with 15c/MB if I exceed the download limit. If i want to go to 2GB/month at 512/128 I'd pay $200/month. bugger that.
