It was the only way I could stop him from pecking holes in my hands. The beak edges are so sharp that he could nip off little folds of skin, as though he had a pair of scissors. Stuffing a whole finger in there was far less painful.

They're so small I can't feel them through gloves. I have the same problem with microbats.
