Venison is deer meat. Moose, elk, reindeer, and caribou are also frequently eaten game meats, but technically they're not venison

Aren't Caribou and Reindeer the same thing?

I've never liked seafood. It wasn't until a few years ago that I discovered that I had a mild shellfish allergy, and that explained why if I had more than a small amount, I could expect to be violently ill a few hours after I'd eaten it.

A few of these I've tried and not liked, octopus and squid really don't appeal to me at all, and I really can't see the fuss over caviar. On the other hand.... Haggis is a wonderful thing!!

Paella is a Spanish dish of long grain rice with seafood mixed in. Also sometimes pieces of chicken and/or sausage, and there's saffron in the rice, I think.

What's an American diner breakfast? Is that the buttered roll + coffee that I see advertised at diners for $1.99? :)

You'd like clam chowder. It's very good.

I think you'd like Jerk Chicken or Pork - it's a Jamaican spicy dish, the Jerk is referring to the seasoning, not a cooking method.

I am a very bad vegetarian

You haven't had clam chowder!?!

I think the New Englander in me just died of shock.

Note that if tomatoes are involved it's not proper chowder. It should be white and creamy with lots of clams and potatoes.

Hehe... Clam Chowder goooooooooooooood. I'd like to try Manhattan style sometime. But I think you're right; that's a soup, not a chowder. :)

I'd love to try it. Is it chowder or chowdah?

Chowder unless I'm tired, drunk, or recently saw my family. :)

Actually a lot of people have said that I have remarkably little in the way of an accent. These same people have heard my mother and wonder how in the world I managed to avoid it. :)

So what does this tell you about me?
