I want to read the Red Hat reference docs they have online. It's in .pdf format. No problem. I have reader2.1 It's smallish (3mb) and has worked well.

Until now. The red hat .pdfs were created with a new version of Acrobat Reader. I have to download and update.

The archive is 8.5mb. The archive

bugger And it's only a text reader. You can't do anything else with it. No wonder Bloatbusters gave Adobe the thumbs down.

There's a great deal more to Adobe Acrobat Reader than "just" a text reader, as there's a great deal more to a .pdf file than "just" text.

I do agree that 8+ MB for an _archive_ is getting excessive, though.
