It was a hilarious interview. He metioned people doing PhDs on his work and sending them to him "And they're full of really long words like 'corrugated iron' and 'marmalade.'"
Not to mention when he was asked what he would do in his spare time. (TP = PTerry, AS = Adam Spencer)
TP: Spare time? AS: If you had one day when you were banned from writing, what would you do? TP: Die, I suppose.
And then going on to explain that while he accepted having to go through the whole editing and nit-picking as part of writing a book, his reward when writing was "if you're really good, they might let you start writing another book".
I wish I went to the Dymocks speech tonight :( or the special dinner last night that was invitation-only :'( but I did go to the Dymocks event last time he was here, and if anyone wants some of the highlights from that I can dig them up. (Yay I got 4 books signed today! Including one I picked up from remainders at another bookstore for under $5 XD)
